Double Glazing is the idea of putting 2 sheets of glass in your windows rather than one to insulate more. Double glazing reduces the amount of cold air getting out as well as the amount of noise getting in.

This is a great idea in England due our cold weather, the extra layer of glass stops them low temperatures from getting in.

Double glazing is a need if you live on a very loud street or a city apartment where there is loud people on the street. if you do then double glazing is a great way to separate your home form the outside world and not get woken up at night!

It is also a must if you live on a less noisy street but have a small child who sleeps in the day.

Although double glazing may be more expensive than single glass to install, it can benefit greatly, and the money you save on heating bills will almost certainly pay for the installation.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of guide that will helpy ou pick the right kitch. Although too much information can be overwhelming and leave you confused. By looking through our simple guide you can get all the facts in one placeand make a clear choice on picking your new kitchen cabinets.

The first thing you need to decide is which material you want to have for you kitchen cabinets. There are lots you can use each with their advantages and disadvantages.
Metal Ones are normally made from stainless steel which look great!, are easy to keep clean and are perfect for a modern home … but … they do smudge and scratch easily.

Most kitchen will have wooden cabinets though, there are many different types of wood you can use each one has its own look and character.

By looking through the many design books and magazines out there, you will be able to pick out a look that works for your kitchen and for you.

Birch is very cheap and Ebony is very expensive but looks amazing so maybe try budgeting in other areas to really give a great impression for your kitchen.

If you are looking for a kitchen fitter in worcester Dm Build can provide fee consultations and many brochures to look through, we can also advice the best option for our kitchen and also the cheapest but most effective.

In this guide we are going to try wipe out the myths involved with planning permission and replace with facts.

The building of new building, large external changes or you wish to change the purpose in which you use land will most probably need planning permission.

Internal alterations such as decorating, new kitchen & bathroom and repair and maintenance you will most likely not need planning permission providing that the work does not effect the buildings external appearance or purpose.

DO YOU NEED PLANNING FOR….

Home Extension: YES! but you may have certain permitted development rights. click here for more information.

Demolish A Building: You will not normally require planning permission to demolish a building, however you will to erect a new build in its place.

Install New Windows: Usually you will not need planning permission for new windows as this comes under permitted development, there are certain cases when this is not applicable, if your building is listed or in a conservation area you may require planning permission, you window fitter can tell you more about your property.

New Kitchen or Bathroom: No, you will not need planning permission for this.

Decorate My Home: No , you will not need planning permission for this.

Demolish Existing home and Build a new one: unless building is listed you will not need planning permission to demolish it, you will however need planning permission to build the new home.

If you are looking to start a new building project, but are concerned with planning permission, please feel free to contact us, we have taken care of the PP side of things for many of our customers and are sure we could do the same for you!

Why Have A Basement Conversion.

When you need more space, many people think about going into the loft or out with an extention, The space that lies under your feet doesnt get a second look, but you can create a whole new floor of your home with basement conversions

Why A Basement Conversion?

In America , Lots of people have homes that have basements which are used as playrooms, gyms, storage or even to keep a pool. But in the united kingdom, with space running low, we’re realising that the space under us may have great potential, more and more people are converting wasted space into cinemas, gyms, as well as rooms like bedroom or even the kitchen. Don’t worry about dark and damp we can use basement conversion methods to make your basement warm and airy.

What Type of Home is Suitable?

A basement conversion is best suited to a terrace or semi-detached house that will not allow a loft conversion or home extension. maybe you have already had a extension and simply need more space, or you’re in need of a pool, gym or new kitchen, which just isn’t practical in a loft.

Find Reviews

many directories allow you to add reviews so be sure to check out these directories and make sure good reviews are there, if there is no reviews don’t worry.

Ask for References
